Very excited!

The "Getting started" checklist sounds like it will be very helpful. I always get annoyed when I have to hunt for the part of the rulebook that I need for a step in character creation when they could have just told me roll for XXXX on Table XX.

Do you think you will be making map templates and the like?

For the time being, prescribed methods of mapping are very simple. A Star Sector is a 10x10 hex grid where each hex is a 'warp'. A settlement (on a planet or moon) is also a square hex grid where each hex is a settlement district. Star systems are "mapped" in the abstract; it takes 24 hours to get from point A to point B in a star system, and it takes 24 hours to "leave" solar space far enough to engage FTL. I have encounter templates that define how to 'map' a Site, but they are more abstract.

I will do a review pass on these and try to include something that makes it easier, if necessary.

Really looking forward to more feedback of this nature so I can make this (very different) game easier to convey to new players.
